Explore Sand Creek Greenway

Did you know that Sand Creek Region Greenway is a nearly 14-mile public trail and natural area, part of which is located in our community? If you adventure out and explore the trial, you could see different types of animals and plants.

Walk 2 Connect and Sand Creek Greenway are hosting walks where you can get an out explore while hearing stories of Sand Creeks guts and glory, athletic history, wagers, damage and repair. The walks will range from 3.5 – 4.5 miles.

Here are the details for the walks:

• Friday, March 13 and repeated on Saturday, March 14^th – Platte River to Wetland Park
• Friday, Mach 20^th and repeated on Saturday, March 21^st – Aurora sports Park Soccer Fields to Star K Ranch
• Friday, April 10^th and repeated on Saturday, April 11^th – Star K Ranch to Bluff Lake
• Friday, April 24^th and repeated on Saturday, April 25^th – Wetland Park to Bluff Lake
